Dev was a member of Rebellious and has played in Ayia Napa and Faliraki at Ibis, Insomnia, Club Ice and Gas with Reggie Yates.[1] Griffin warmed up for Kanye West at the Hammersmith Apollo and Jurassic 5 at the London Astoria. He also played at the Radio 1 Teen Awards, and was asked to calm the crowd down after getting them too excited.Radio
Dev joined BBC Radio 1Xtra at the launch in August 2002, where he presented "The Lowdown with Reg and Dev", on Saturday afternoons between 12PM and 3PM. In August 2004, The Lowdown with Reg and Dev moved to Saturday mornings between 9AM and 12PM, with Dev additionally doing the show by himself on Sunday mornings. Yates left 1Xtra in December 2004, so from January 2005, Dev presented both Saturday and Sunday morning shows by himself. Following further schedule changes in September 2005, Dev moved to Saturday afternoons again between 12PM and 2PM, where he stayed until 2007 when he became presenter of the weekday early morning show (not the Breakfast show) between 6AM and 8AM. On 5 June 2009 the BBC announced that Dev was moving from his early morning show on BBC Radio 1Xtra across to BBC Radio 1 to take on the weekend breakfast show. This show started in July 2009. In a further shake up to their daytime programming, during the Summer of 2009, it was announced that Dev would be moving from Weekend Breakfast, to replace Greg James, as the host of the weekday Radio 1 0400 to 0630 AM show. His first show as permanent presenter was on 21 September 2009 and his last on Friday 28 March 2014. This can be downloaded from the unofficial Radio 1 Archive. From Saturday 29 March 2014, Dev took over the weekend breakfast show originally hosted by Gemma Cairney. Cairney moved to Dev's previous time slot of Mon-Fri 4am-6:30am. Initially the show was from 0700-1000 AM, however following changes to the specialist schedule, the start time of the show was pushed back to 0600 AM, still finishing at 1000. Dev made his debut presenting The Radio 1 Breakfast Show sitting in for Nick Grimshaw in February 2014, at short notice after Grimshaw called in sick, which Dev has done again since. He regularly covers both Scott Mills' show and Greg James' show when they are away.Television presenting

Acclaimed Educator, Music Entrepreneur and Musician, Francis Seriau is a true original whom many regard as the single greatest influence on contemporary music education in the UK. Francis has pioneered and led work in this field since 1983 and helped provide the crucial bridge between vocational music training, academia and the music industry itself. He founded the first contemporary music school in the UK, the world-renowned Tech Music Schools, starting with Drumtech in 1983 followed later by Vocaltech, Keyboardtech and Guitar-X. Francis developed new concepts and techniques for the teaching of contemporary music. His ground-breaking approach attracted students and musicians from over 50 countries, as well as some of the biggest names in music - among them: Bill Bruford (Yes) Pick Withers (Dire Straits) Rat Scabies (The Damned) Phil Selway (Radiohead) Jason Cooper (The Cure) Nathan Curran (Basement Jaxx) Jed Lynch (Peter Gabriel) Mick Avory (The Kinks) Elliott Fyfe (George Benson) Mark Roberts (Massive Attack) Tom Meadows (Duffy), Julian Brown (Kylie Minogue) and many many more… A truly unique and unrivalled track record of successfully training musicians for the music industry. In 1998 Francis received an honorary doctorate from Thames Valley University in recognition of his outstanding contribution to music education and in 2005, he was made a Fellow of The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA). He is also a member of the Institute of Directors. In June 2010, after over a quarter of a century developing specialist music education, Francis sold his schools. Now, through a range of new exciting projects and services packed with fresh insights and new ways of thinking, he is again sharing his knowledge, passion and experience – helping entrepreneurs, musicians and businesses around the world as well as developing new musical opportunities.
